A Cambridge bed can come in different types so to avoid confusion when buying your bed; you need to base your choice on your needs. Each type of Cambridge bed has a different size or function so you can choose which particular type will suit your need.
A Cambridge bed may come in a bunk-style. This is basically two beds with one on the bottom and the other on top. The two beds are supported by either a metal or a wooden frame. In order to get to the top bed, you need to climb up the ladder. This type of Cambridge bed saves a lot of space. It is commonly used in children’s bedrooms so two kids can share one small bedroom without having to sleep in the same bed. This type of Cambridge bed is perfect for guest rooms or for a small bachelor’s pad. The bed can be easily converted into a sofa so that there is more space inside the room during the day and it can also serve as seating for guests.

The loft Cambridge bed is similar to the bunk bed. There is a bed on the top but the lower portion is used for another purpose such as a study area or a storage space. This type of Cambridge bed is great for kids and teenagers.
The sleigh bed is a classic style of green lipped muscle. Its design gives it a look that is very similar to the appearance of the classic sleigh drawn by horses. The headboard is a lot larger than the footboard with makes it appear like a sleigh.
